Thanks to Michal Porteš for making this great collage of some of our moments in launching Zooomr Mark III and thanks to everyone who spent time hanging out with us. We could not have done it without your amazing and incredible support. Thanks for continuing to bear with us as we work out the bugs in Mark III and try to build the best photo sharing site in the world for us all to play in.

A little Thursday sampler of beauty. Clockwise starting at upper left photos by, Ryan, Verb My Noun., Bryan N, and Paul.
One of my most favorite things to do is to go fav crazy on Zooomr. I’m constantly amazed at the quality of work that all of our photographers put out day after day. Thanks to all of you for sharing your great work and thanks for all the favs on my own shots.
One of my favorite ways to fav is to go fav diving where I go through other people’s favorites to find more myself. Raoul has some amazing picks in this regard. Thanks to all and share the love.
I was pretty blown away recently looking through a series of photographs that Prophead took over in the world’s largest garden at Keukenhof in South Holland. You can check out his set of images here. One of the best flower sets I’ve seen in long time. To learn more about Keukenhof, check out its wikipedia entry here.
While we’re still undecided on if Zooomr should have video functionality, there are some pretty clever video sharing applications to try out there.
Lately, you may have seen me post videos from my newly created Vimeo account — and let it be known that I couldn’t be happier with the service.
Thomas Hawk and myself had the pleasure of meeting one of its creators (Jakob Lodwick, above) recently, which makes it even more special.
While sites like YouTube do a good job with video hosting and services, it’s always refreshing to see developing competition that goes well beyond the mark.
If you get a chance, check-out Vimeo and give it a whirl — not only is it promising, it also delivers.
Enjoy,

Nothing like some more amazing photos to start your Tuesday off right. I’m continually stunned at the quality of photographs that so many Zooomr photographers put up. Thanks much to all of you.
We are in the final home stretch for Mark III. It’s been fun watching behind the scenes as Kristopher develops it all. Can’t wait until everyone gets to try it.
By the way, I think someone needs a hug here.

Gung Hay Fat Choy! Happy Chinese New Years from Zooomr! Welcome to the year of the pig. The pig represents wealth, like the piggy bank.
Thanks to Scott Burns for the great photo!
