580 Overpass Collapses

Bay Area commuters faced an especially bad commute today and will continue for quite some time due to a collapse of a 580 Overpass on the Bay Bridge yesterday morning. I went by in the morning and got some shots of the wreckage which you can see above. BART is running for free today and has added more cars to handle the extra traffic.

    Wow! That’s the biggest meltdown since the release of Mark III!

    Hopefully Mark III gets fixed quicker than this freeway will.
