I knew before it played that it would be Ryan vs. Dorkman. I used to be a member of TheForce.net’s Fan Films community - these guys are legendary.
Of course, there are tons of other high quality fan films available - you’ve probably seen Troops , what many consider to be the short that jump-started the fan film movement. Star Wars: Revelations is a longer form movie (clocking in at 50 minutes) that received quite a bit of press coverage for their professional quality visual effects . Another “fan film legend” is the Pink Five series (Pink Five, Pink Five Strikes Back, and the forthcoming Return of Pink Five). AtomFilms has the first two parts: .
Fan films are pretty amazing - Star Wars fans are incredibly devoted, and come up with hilarious and professional-quality productions.
