Looks like there are a few great features for customizing the user experience. I like the idea of having the image, multi-image, and thumbnail views of he stream..good idea! Also digging the groups feature. But I have to ask about the Zipline? I think you have shown it in more than one post so far?
Great to hear. I’m looking forward to seeing the improvements. Any chance of better support for keeping metadata in uploads from Aperture -> JUploader -> Zooomr?
It looks like Zooomr’s Mark III is shaping up to be a spectacular release, and I can’t wait to see it and try it out! Kristopher Tate, Zooomr’s creator and always a tease, posted a screenshot of what the Photos page for a user profile…
In early March. So the worst case scenario is a wait of two more weeks. And that’s not so awful. My biggest wish is obviously servers in Europe, pleeeease (or whatever else that would make the pics load just a bit faster). Anyway, you rock, man!
Taavi - you’re assuming too much here - I can’t wait till mark III comes out, but I don’t count on it coming on time…
(Nothing personal - its just Murphy…)
I agree with Shwouchk as can’t wait for Mark III, but I would rather wait a while longer and for it to as stunning as we all expect than it be rushed out.
Saying that it’s March now so where is it!
Anybody else having issues with ‘recent activities’? Like people’s comments and favorites just not showing up? Is it me and my damn proxy (yeah Zooomr is blocked where I am in China, go figure) or is this happening to others?

juploadr’s the only one i’m aware of, and i have the same issue, i just make a few attempts and eventually all the photos get through. i just thought it was because i upgraded to vista.
I apologize if this is out of topic, but does zooomr have a support forum for free users? I’m encountering the same issue as Walter Kerkhofs. I’m a new user (just 1 week). There are other bugs as well that makes the experience very disappointing.
Julie, I’m not sure if you’re referring to jUploadr. The issue is not with jUploadr, it’s with the zooomr site. It created 2 accounts for my myopenid login.
Yeah. I’ve tried the new version of jUploadr, as well as the old one. Going back to the old one gives me more of a verbose error message:

But it doesn’t help me any. This really sucks: I haven’t been able to mass-upload to Zooomr in over two weeks now.
I have been looking for a widget or some mini-slideshow frame to put on my blog (just like the one Flickr offers its users) but it seems Zooomr doesn’t offer that. I even tried coding one myself using Ajax but I couldn’t even find an rss feed to my pictures. Flickr isn’t perfect nor should your goals be targeted towards copying Flickr but if you guys plan on gaining significant market share I think you should reach out to the blogging community. Looking forward seeing the next version! Cheers.
Excuse me people, just wondering if anyone has heard of this software which is available at motounlockuk.co.uk.
Apparently you can unlock Motorola mobile phones simply using the IMEI number, cutting out the need for a USB cable to link your phone to your PC. Just used it with my razr v3 and a rokr e1, and it certainly works, but what do i do now with an unlocked phone?
It’s for sale at 5 Pounds (UK), and i was wondering whether anyone had used it before. Sorry if i’ve posted in the wrong section!. Please Help!!

Cmiper — I’ve been too busy on Mark III to comment, unfortunately
The three new views are: Blog View, Detail View & Square View

Looking forward for a better sharing - and something that works better than the “public” and “private” now.

Very nice, I like the interface changes, and more pics per page…
Better sharing experience will improve over all experience.

Also very importantly. Groups! Thank you Kristopher!

It looks good, but will the performance be better ?
Because half the pictures I upload do not show up on my page.
After a reboot today of my SUSE Linux 10.0 pc, I had to log in again.
And when i did this I had 2 accounts, I do not know what happend.
So can you make it back to one account ?
Thanks allot,
Walter Kerkhofs

Is it finally going to be out of Beta? Really you have a usable product with thousands if not tens of thousands of members. Its time…

Interface is looking very nice specially when there are more photos in small space.
And I am excited to see the 3 views you mentioned. Still want to know more about Storefront and Analytics - they are looking very attractive.
February 28th, 2007 at 5:04 am
That looks great Kristopher!
Can’t wait.
Zooomr is working so well with my blog.
What’s the advantage of being out of beta Gareth Thomas?

My assumption is based on Kris saying that M3 is on schedule. But hey, it’s highly probable that it delays.
Personally I’d like it to be delayed to March 21. I’m busy studying until then ;).
Rukasu, that sucks. Why would China block a photo-sharing site? My recent activity seems to be working fine.

Anyone having issues with jUploadr and Zooomr?
I’m getting a general upload failure and it’s rather infuriating (nothing’s changed on my end: I’ve tried re-authing, etc. No love).
Any other bulk-uploaders for Zooomr that I’m unaware about?

I too had problems with jUploader last weekend. 3 attempts did it for me.

Have you guys got the current version? It’s 1.1.2. I think he’s got another one in beta.
I just installed it to Vista 64-bit and so far it works like a champ. I have to go lay down before I faint!
March 4th, 2007 at 1:33 am
This comment is out of topic as well, but has the upload limit been reset for the month of March?
I’ve only uploaded a 1GB and it says that I have reached my limit. juploadr says I have uploaded 1.4GB in March.

Looking forward to seeing Mark III in action in a couple of days, it should make up for the Zooomr withdrawal I’ll have whilst it’s down!
