Mark III is gonna rock and its good you have some new stuff running to stop the spam because I have the same problem on my blog with the spam not as much but 20 messages a day from weird companies…keep up good work and I can test if you need it when the time comes

Sounds awesome, Damien — I’ll let you know.

Sounds good. Better to do it properly, than fast and poorly - so take your time. I think it’s pointless to say that I want to beta test, cause almost everybody does :), but yeah.

Sounds great, hope they fix your Mac. The openid login system is just brilliant, interested to see how the version 2.0 is going to improve it.
Keep us posted with Mark III.

Please, please , pleasssseeeeeee pick me.
Seriously, though, I’d love to help in any way I can. In fact, I’d do documentation if you’d acknowledge (on the site) my having done so. Shoot me an email and we can set it up.

Just in case you missed it…Pick Me! Pick Me! for testing.

Very nice, Mark III will be great!
And I can do French documentation too.
I am ready to test it and to help you if you want…
Good luck for the last days of development.

Good to hear..and I’ll second what Taavi stated above. I recently saw another site push an overhaul and things turned out bad for a few days. Luckily they got it resolved, but not without getting a few folks up in arms. People sometimes forget the meaning of “beta” and forget that it is a “test” and not 100%.
Also, I’d offer myself up as a “tester” if you are looking for a test crew. I’m in front of the PC most of the day as it is.

I wouldn’t mind testing, just like the rest. Look forward to all the updates either way!

Sounds good! I installed Akismet on my Wordpress.org blog and it’s worked brilliantly and caught over 2K spam comments in a few months.
I’d be open to help the testing, too.

I use a combination of Spam Karma 2 with the Akismet add-on, and also the Bad Behavior plugin on my wordpress blog. Hasn’t failed yet! =)

Kristopher,
Zooomr is looking very good right now and obviously MkIII is even more promising! I like what some of the others have said: go as slow as you need to in order to get it right.
If I may, one major thing I’m looking forward to are methods for stronger organization. For example, I just uploaded a bunch of photos from trekking in Nepal and used the portal feature to do a “walk-through” of the trek. It would be very nice to keep all of these photos in a sub-album separate from my other photos that are used in my photoblog. As well, if a user casually comes across the Nepal photos, they have no way of knowing which photo has the first portal. Anyways, this is just one example of how some of zooomr’s cool features can maybe be used more effectively.
take care!

Zooomr:

I’m the blogger of otnth.net. I made a mistake when I try to do some hacking with my woredpress. Sorry for my deadlink trackback, please delete it.
