I don’t think I’ve seen Chinese letters in neon before this. Most of the neon signs in the U.S. of course are English. It looks so much more elegant in Chinese. I’ve got to get over to China someday and shoot all of that neon! In the meantime thanks for sharing it with us gem!
hmm china doesn’t have that many neon signs yet. i mean they’re not all concentrated in one place. you should visit Hong Kong. it’s even more saturated with neon than any city in Taiwan.

Oh god, that is a lot of neon. Pretty cool, although I wouldn’t want them in my home town.

there’s this Taiwanese song that goes, “Taipei isn’t my home, my hometown doesn’t have neon lights” (台北不是我的家,我的家鄉沒有霓虹燈).
i guess the writer of the song feels the same way you do.
