Hey Everyone, as a special treat this Hallow’s Eve, Thomas and I thought it would be fun to upgrade both Pro and Free Zooomr accounts:

Pro Account Users, seriously thanks. You guys (and Pro Bloggers) get a whopping 4GB a month upgrade!

General Admission users, you guys are really awesome and we want to support you as well. That’s why we’re upgrading Free accounts to 100M a month along with Pro Accounts.

    I am trying to sign in but now there is some incomprehensible stuff about myopenid. I can not find a place to recover my password, how do i do it?

    There I am asked to sign via Google, or two other providers I did not use to open my account. I just do not understand how to proceed.

    Ok, I am not at all convinced that myopenid is a good idea. Chicken/Egg… unless/until it takes off and covers many sites I use regularly it is a hindrance, not a help. Add to that how it won’t let me stay logged in across sessions (opera, linux, yes cookies are on). Still, it is a small price to pay for FOUR GIGS PER MONTH. Thank you! I am SO irked at fotki, who just changed their whole policy so that even existing users only get 50MB TOTAL, and no longer get FTP access.

    If you find you are overwhelmed with responses, please do not follow their lead and change the policy on existing users. It certainly looks just like intentional bate & switch - I have a very hard time accepting fotki’s claims this just happened, unplanned.

    Well, you got me to finally start a blog. Like I have anything to say :)
    It also helps that you actually interact with your users.

    I had a Pro 4 Life account before, couldn’t sign in, sent e-mail to Thomas Hawk, then I didn’t hear from him since Nov. 14. So I made a new account with an OpenID, blogged a photo, and got my account Proitized. But now I lost my Pro 4 Life status.
