Zooomr Downtime 26-10-2006 PSA (With Video!)
A quick update — some of our hardware died and since stores are finally open here in the states, I bought and replaced much of the problem earlier in the day. As of right now, I’m restoring from where we left off!
We’ve still got quite a bit of files to transfer and the like, so please bear with us.

These things happen with technology, but it’s great that yourself and Thomas are so upfront about it and don’t try to hide what the issues are.

I just went through a major hardware failure on a server at work myself. It was a hellish 48-hour marathon getting everything back online.

Yeah, it was a 2-disk failure on a RAID5 configuration. Always fun.
