A quick update — some of our hardware died and since stores are finally open here in the states, I bought and replaced much of the problem earlier in the day. As of right now, I’m restoring from where we left off!
We’ve still got quite a bit of files to transfer and the like, so please bear with us.
With love,
-Kristopher

That’s what they call tired.

These things happen with technology, but it’s great that yourself and Thomas are so upfront about it and don’t try to hide what the issues are.
Good luck and see you on the flipside.
Thanks for keeping us up to speed on things Kristopher.
Kris, I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you. Get some sleep, man, you look beat! I’ll wait a few more hours, no sweat. Seriously, hit the sack for a few hours!
I just went through a major hardware failure on a server at work myself. It was a hellish 48-hour marathon getting everything back online.
I hope everything gets better soon. Good luck!
Everyone, thanks for your kind words — things are coming along over here — I’m hoping to bring the service back online by later tonight (PDT, GMT-7)
Ping, that does sound hellish, and in fact much like what I’m going through! Good-times.

Hi Kristopher.
Keep it up! Thanks for all the hard work.
Yeah, it was a 2-disk failure on a RAID5 configuration. Always fun.
Kris, I appreciate your sleepless hard work. You’re a rock and got a strong sense of responsiblity.
You can take a break whenever your body needs it.
Good luck. A Bed is waiting for you.
Hey kris,
waiting for zooomr to be up… please make it ASAP
So I take it you have co-located hardware…that sucks when stuff like this occurs.
Fingers crossed on the other side of the atlantic for ya!
you should take a long, long nap afterwards. =)
Oh, man, you look really tired. What DID die? I mean, did any photos or other data of users get lost or something like that?
Thanks for your hard work!! We’re keeping fingers & toes crossed for you
No need to say sorry - this shit happens, sadly enough. Thanks for keeping us posted and good luck with all the replacing and restoring!
Good luck and sleep tight when everything’s done!
