Faves and Recent Activity Launched

Hey Everyone! I just launched Faves and Recent Activity 24 minutes ago! I’ll try to get a video up of it soon.

    This is fantastic! I like the new front page as well. Will comments we’ve made on other people’s photos be included in the “recent activity” feature, or will it have an option all to it’s own.

    Yes, comments will also show in recent activity.

    what do you mean? Your personal photos will not show in the timeline, only faves and comments to your photos.

    Using IE7 and viewing Recent Activity displays a javascript error “Line 56 Error: ‘Timeline’ is undefined.” Oh, also in Firefox 2.0b1 same error on line 57 though.

    The Faves func works great though.

    @Kris: Ah, right, that should perhaps be explained better (or implemented *hint*hint*).

    At least, because the german “path” is somehow confusing concerning this: “new Pictures/activity” so I (but only myself) would expect to see kinda history of my activities including uploads…

    Great! The timeline is very, very handy. My most fave feature yet ;). Although I’d like to see some more info. Just for example “On November 15th you uploaded 12 photos”. Maybe a way of showing photos that you yourself commented on. That would be good in the case you ask a question about a photo with a comment and can’t remember to see the answer later.

    Kris, job well done, I hope you can now take a small rest. Maybe go out for a photoshoot? :)

    In regards to cmiper’s question about comments and Thomas’ response: It appears that comments that we made to somebody else’s photos do not show up in our recent activity, the only comments that show up are the comments that people leave for us.
    It would still be nice to somehow track the comments that we left (ultimately so we can tell when somebody else replies or adds another comment, a la a message forum thread)

    I think would be great if there was a feed for recent activity, don’t you?

    I know this post is old and perhaps you will release this feature with Mark III release, but…it’s just a suggestion.
