Looks amazing. It is going to be much easier for people to find each other on Zooomr. I just added some people that I didn’t even know were on there. Keep up the good work.
Interesting. However, it doesn’t solve an essential problem: there is no way to tell if someone is just a contact or a Friend or Family, nor a way to easily change from simple contact to Friend or Family or back.
Also, I find myself wanting to show some photos only to some Friends … would it be possible to create “contacts groups” other than Friend and Family, and allow private photos to be shared with any of these groups?
Oh, and one more thing: can you find some way to show not just contacts of a person but also who has elected that person as contact? (”Reverse” contacts)
The new profile pages are awesome. Is there any chance of us eventually being able to edit the url that leads to our photos? Just the part where it has the user ID.
I have two suggestions:
- why not to create a Zforum where we can discuss together and help other users
- in that forum or anywhere else, to create a developerZ Zone in order to exchange ideas and work with the Zooomr API (for example, I am trying to use Oberkampf with Zooomr)
I am sorry if I express badly, I did not wanted to show any sign of unhappiness.
I really enjoy with Zooomr and I know that Kristopher is a human like anyone else
My comment was just to give some ideas and to discuss about those ideas with Zooomr team or Zooomr users.
As you said, a lot of new features is coming… thank you very much!
Oblomov, for me on Firefox, it remembers me at work (after I type in my OpenID of course) but at home on Firefox as well I always have to reauthorize with my password on MyOpenID… guessing it’s a settings/cookies thing??
Actually, MyOpenID remembers me everywhere, so in Opera I can simply enter my OpenID to login. In Mozilla SeaMonkey my login seems to be even more persistent on ZooomR itself (as in: I don’t need to enter my OpenID URL at all, except after a very long time)

nice work as everytime
just a question: why dont you make original screenshots (with a program)?
and what about better logins? i mean the login-cookie should be expanded that you only have to login one time a day!

@killercup, I assume it’s because this is a photo sharing site. Why use a program when you can take a picture.

Marvellous, the update is good.
- That is a good idea in order to develop community to see the ‘Friends of friends’.
- My smartsets goes well now and I can see my photos page.
Thanks for all. Good job

What do you think about it?

Gregoire, as far as I know, such things are already in the works. If not, then in the do-to list.

@ hmorandell: Sounds cool, but your web says “This domain may be for sale by its owner”… doh!

Gregoire, we are developing Zooomr Groups which, once finished, will have a forum for suggestions and bugs.
The Zooomr API is done but we need to finish the documentation. Hopefully you will see this soon.
We do also plan to create some blog plug ins when we can. Just remember that Kristopher is just one guy and needs to sleep and eat once in a while.
I think the new feature is great and found a few people in my friends of friends list that I wasn’t aware were on Zooomr.
Thanks all for your support.

For some strange reason, Zooomr remembers me when I use Mozilla SeaMonkey, but in Opera I need to login again every time
