However, I'm not seeing this connection speed ups. On the contrary, all the site pages seem to load slower than before; more precisely, there seems to be a higher latency between the request and the page finally loading. Since my browser has remained the same (Opera 9.01 on Windows XP) it's probably some kind of mis-interaction with the serverside improvements.
