Zooomr Closure and Upgrade Notice

Hey Everyone,

I just wanted to say that this is a 24 hour notice to notify everyone that Zooomr will be closed from 12:01a PDT on Thurday, July 13th until 5:00p PDT on Friday, July 14th.

This is so that we can upgrade Zooomr to our new 2.0 release. Please note that all of your photos posted to blogs and other sites will still be accessible.

And lastly, please join us in counting-down to the all new Zooomr 2 on this countdown page — It’s really cool, just check it out.

    Hi, I’m Hong Kong. Zooomr seems to recognize that from my IP and automatically displays itself in simplified Chinese, which I don’t read. The cookie isn’t working either; I have to switch to English quite often. Hope it will be fixed in 2.0. Thx.

    can anyone point me to a contactform or something like that? I was wondering why my username (marcel) isn’t shown in the urls of my photos like it is with other accounts and why I can’t click on my name in the “/Fotos/marcel”-Line to get to my zooomrhomepage like it is in other accounts.
    It’s weird, and I’d like to change that but don’t know how and what I’ve done wrong before..

    Mike, the countdown works fine in Firefox — it’s what we use to primarily work on Zooomr. Perhaps you’ve got a problem with your FF build…

    As soon as Mr. Tate defends the evils of flattery (If imitation is the sincerest form of Flattery, Flickr should be flattered. Though…what is it when the imitator also and Innovator? So then, what would it be called when the “imitated” get’s upset with the “imitator” in advance of a DDOS attack?? (other than petty)

    This would be a great TLA (Three Letter Acronym) word problem…
