On to Portland, Oregon

So, why Portland? Portland is the home of an up-and-coming company called JanRain.

JanRain and it’s awesome employees are very special to us because they handle most of our user accounts on Zooomr — not to mention that they are behind a new identity technology that is very promising, called OpenID.

I’m going up there for a few days to straighten-out this whole login mess that we’ve got going on here, as well as jamming with them for a few days to make Zooomr 2 even better.
