    I’m getting this:
    500 - Internal Server Error

Hey, it’s really nice to seeing you finally back:)!

However, at first glance I experience serious troubles with tag editing (both via “Edit this photo’s title, tags, and description” and the “Tags” controls beneath each foto). For example, removed (by clicking the “x”) tags reappear at page reload, added (by the “+”) don’t appear constantly attached to the photo afterwards. I even had some gorgeous python error splashing out, when I pressed the green “SAVE CHANGES” after trying to edit title, tags, and description!

Nevertheless, I feel much more comfortable (don’t ask me why;) in Zooomr (last but not least by seeing the huge advance in loading speed) and eagerly await the mentioned glitches to be ironed out soon.

Cheers, and good luck with Zooomr!!!

Thanks — What everyone is experiencing are some problems with our database…

It’s clearing up and it will only get better.

    Congrats :)

I uploaded some photos I can see them only in the profile page but not in the ‘Photos’ page (specifically the “Ölaf and Wölfgar” set)

    Thanks

it looks nice but the login system still sucks. i really like the url i chose and don’t want to change it but i’m stuck using the sucky google based login. let’s see a migration to a self contained zooomr login system! PLEASE?

hi, I have some serious problems loging in. I access the site from my company in China through a proxy. No matter if I use MyOpenID or try to get a google temppass, after the login (verifying my password) I get always back to the login page where one can choose the login mehtod. Any suggestions what might be the reason?

  12. Oblomov said on 22 May 2006 at 11:54 pm:

Have the database issues been cleared up? Two photos in my stream cannot be edited: clicking on them gives me the message

    “Error

Sorry, an error occurred. Please try again later.”

It only happens on those two photos, though, strange.

  13. Oblomov said on 23 May 2006 at 4:47 am:

Hm sorry for the stupid question, but is there a way to change the public/private status of a photo? And possibly of a bunch of them at the same time?

  14. Joe said on 23 May 2006 at 7:48 am:

    Oblomov,

I think changing public/private status is an important feature - at least showing the status is too basic to be ignored. I asked many times and still didn’t get Kris to respond on it.

As for the speed, the new version is still pretty slow for me - compared with Flickr etc.

Is the site down? Nothing comes up (??).

    love the new look

and where is the juploadr for zooomr? I tried so hard to stick with zooomr, but it is getting really too hard…

  18. Chrono Cr@cker said on 24 May 2006 at 7:25 am:

Wow, I must admit… Things are hecka lotta faster…. Love the speed. It’s blazing.

    A couple of things

    1) What are all the new features??

    2) If a delete an image, it still shows up in my Photos page….. If I click it, it shows an error.

    3) I gave some feedback last time. http://chronotron.wordpress.com/

Kris, would be greatif you coudl really respond.

  19. istoyanov said on 24 May 2006 at 10:21 am:

Things seem to have settled now, however I would like to report two minor glitches that I’ve spotted meanwhile.

    1) I am still unable to *remove* tags via “Edit this photo’s title, tags, and description” in the “Photo Information” section besides each photo; adding tags *works* though. The controls (i.e. “Add Tags”, “x” after each tag) in the “Tags” section seem to work now as well.

    2) The little white speaker that appears on some photos on mouse-over doesn’t feature a pop-up description as the “Inspector” and “LightBox”, for example.

    and

    3) After uploading a panoramic picture stitched from several photos, I’ve found it heavily resized and the “Original” was not available in “View all sizes”. I’ve checked the FAQ and this situation wasn’t covered therein.

If you are already aware of these issues, excuse this zealous report of mine;)

    Cheers!!!

Chrono, I think you’ve discovered the feature of this release — speed.

Zooomr 2 is coming-up in June, that’s when you’ll see more new and distinctive features.

Otherwise, if you have any bugs, please send them to zfeedback@bbridgetech.com

    Thanks,

    -Kris
