Zooomr Update Imminent
Hey everyone!
Sorry for the silence, rest assured that there is a lot of amazing stuff going behind-the-scenes at Zooomr HQ. Lots of new stuff on the horizon — I’ll be able to comment on it all soon enough.
Until then, thank-you for understanding.

this site is a complete ripoff of flickr down to its design, business and logo for god sakes.

Is the new stuff basically going to be more flickr features?
have some creativity folks.

Hi Dave, I am sorry to hear that you feel this way.
Zooomr’s goal is two fold:
1) Help communicate stories behind photos as best as possible.
2) Organize your photos based on the information inside of photos
While there is a lot of ground-work that will be similar to Flickr, all of the new stuff is quite new and follows the above optimum.
Please stay-tuned, I don’t plan to disappoint.

That’s great! I’m looking forward to their launch.
I have some requests as follows.
1) Recently I have been some times that I could not access the Zooomr. I had once Today. Is it due to server-down? Do you recogonize it and have a plan to fix it?
2) Regading to 1), trouble massege(it’s like a pipe repairman for Bloglines) and logs are needed
3) I can’t find the page and e-mail addrress to send this request. Like “Contact us” page is needed to communicate with stuff.
Thanks.

Hey Kris,
Glad to note that you guys are still as determined as ever. Awaiting the new features with great anticipation. Zooomr does rock and I am sure that you guys will make sure it stays that way. I have one small feature request that I communicated to you sometime ago, but you didn’t really reply
Could you please add a feature for direct uploading of photos from an image. For example, there exists a photo @ http://abc.com/are.jpg, now if I enter this in my upload box, then this automatically gets uploaded to my account. This feature will be really innovative… Please reply and tell me what you think.
