New Layout and Name: Zooooomr^3

I’m excited to bring everyone two new things today. One is a completely white layout and the other is Zooomr reborn into Zooooomr^3.

A new layout

White. Yeah, it might be bright and annoying as heck… Many times incredibly blinding — but it’s still white, something you seriously can’t argue one way or the other — That’s why Zooooomr^3 is now completely white — completely. It’s so white that photos actually REFLECT on its surface! I’m dubbing it “SupRWHITE™”. Check it out here.

Names are really important things to many people — A reoccurring question that I ask myself almost everyday, “How can I really tell people what ‘Zooomr’ is about.” That, and also we didn’t have enough Os.

Luckily, the answer came to me today on April 1st, of all days! I was such a fool to not see it earlier; Starting today, I’m again quite excited to announce our name change to “Zooooomr^3″.

We are certainly living in exciting times.

Enjoy it all.

I actually like that reflection, it’s pretty cool.

All the O’s aside - that reflecting feature is cool as hell. :D

And here I had thought Google had the trademark on unnecessarilly over o-ed logos. Heh.

    The reflection is quite nifty.

so when are you going to make it not such a pain in the proverbial backside to login? an integrated login is really needed. i understand the rationale behind your current login methods but they have turned out to be quite inconvenient.

I’m sorry, but this looks to much like Flickr.

Kevin — Today is April Fools Day (April 1).

myke — I’m working on making login less of a pain, but there are a host of things that need to be done for this.

I have been a computer user since the Radio Shack Trash80 machines… I’ve built computers… but I cannot log onto your site. So I don’t think it’s me, there’s something WRONG here.

The SIGNUP page gets a serious security lock on it and Norton’s won’t allow me to unblock it.

SO, I tried to find Level9 R5 to get an account there, but Google doesn’t bring up ANY SUCH THING. SO I tried to find OPENID but I couldn’t find them either. You really need to provide LINKS to these other sites if you expect us to use them. And I don’t know what’s wrong with that SIGNUP button but security won’t let me past it nohow, no WAY.

I’d like to visit a friend’s Zoomr photo blog, in fact my whole MB is interested in coming over here. I’m the pied piper… if I can figure it out then everyone else will follow me.

We need something easier than this because my MB fan club is not as computer savvy as I am. This is going to be too hard for most people. Heck, it’s too hard for ME.

I’m also looking for level9 R5. Why is there no specs available for this “distributed identity system” online?

There are results showing up but those are blog posts simply enumerating the identity systems we can use with zooomer.

    Level9 R5 spec/info link anyone?
