[...] From many angles people have commented that Zooomr’s Google login feature is quite insecure. Even on the Zooomr Blog! While I have no interest in collecting people’s passwords, I’m here to say that I have implemented a better method for logging-in via Google. It’s called TPass, and like the name suggests, it’s based off of Temporary Passwords. [...]

Hey Alex, thanks for taking the time to check-out Zooomr.

As for our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, they are located here and here, respectfully. We do not store any passwords on Zooomr. At this time, Zooomr does not have its own account system.

Regardless, We are working to find better ways of authenticating against Google accounts (One being sending an email) or sending a user an IM via XMPP.

I apologize if you feel insecure using your Google ID with Zooomr. There still many other means to login, including OpenID aware sites like myOpenID.

Thanks again for writing.

How can anyone trust you with a Google account password?

You don't even state your own policy regarding this info on the site. And you'd better ask Google to officially announce your partnership.
