Notes on Bumpiness

Hi friends, there has been a bit of bumpiness on Zooomr recently. This is mostly due to a failure on our part to communicate that we were actually upgrading most of our core infrastructure — but now that is officially over, let’s start to enjoy life on Zooomr again!

This also means that we can get back to building new features and improving the software side of the service.

3.30.08 (Sun) — Ready, Set: Photowalk!

Friends, we’ve worked hard to get Zooomr 2008 up an running — now, let’s go take a small break and celebrate with a photowalk in Yokohama, Japan!

One of our local community orginizers, Chidorian-san, has put together a really awesome course for us to walk. Please take a look at the below map for a better idea of the walk:

Oct. 2007 Interview

Back when I was just getting things setup here in Japan, I ran into an awesome person by the name of Ms. Fumi Yamazaki who kindly decided to take a moment and interview me on our direction here.

Today, I was going through my news feeds and saw that she had posted the video we took in late October 2007.

Inside the video, we discuss my passion for helping people communicate, as well as touching on some of reasons why I feel Zooomr will do relatively well in Japan and around the world.
